Event Venue

While there are numerous special events venues in North Carolina there are none as spectacular as Roaring River Vineyards. We are centrally located near the major metropolitan areas of the Triad area (Winston-Salem, High Point, and Greensboro), Charlotte, Raleigh, and our local Yadkin Valley area.

The Gathering Place

The main event area comprised of several buildings such as the outdoor wedding ceremony site, the restroom building, the TGP Pavilion with its large stage and dance floor, and The Party Place.

  1. All lodgings at Roaring River Vineyards (4 units) must be rented together during a wedding for privacy.
  2. Two-night minimum.
  3. We will block the nights for each unit at the time of wedding booking.
  4. One Month before the wedding, please call us at (336) 757-2332 and we will assist you to unblock and book the units.
  5. Day-of coordinator is required. Please contact us for a preferred wedding coordinator.

The Outdoor Pavilion

We have a specially constructed event pavilion. This large event venue has a large dance floor and stage for larger events. It provides a beautiful and functional event venue for weddings, business meetings, seminars, and private events such as family reunions, graduations, birthdays, and pretty much any event up to 150 people! It is an open venue that overlooks the Roaring River and a beautiful forested hillside.  This venue has retractable walls that can be lowered during inclement weather.  It is available between May 1st until October 31st each year and accommodates up to 150 guests.

The Place’s Party Place

Is a separate indoor and outdoor event venue. The indoor area is one large open space that has a full kitchen, island, and a dining area that can comfortably accommodate 14 guests seated. It also has a sitting area comprised of three sofas, a TV, an indoor fireplace. It also has a Karaoke machine, a keyboard, and a guitar. 

The outdoor area is comprised of a covered deck,  uncovered deck, and an outdoor fireplace that overlooks the river. The covered porch can accommodate up to three rectangular tables that seat up to 24 guests.  The uncovered deck adds additional flexibility and can accommodate a number of round or rectangular tables that can be used for example as a rehearsal dinner venue.

When you rent this venue you get both indoor and outdoor areas. When used together it lends itself to a variety of set-ups and is a very flexible space to host a number of events such as holiday parties, cocktail parties, birthday dinners, business meetings or training, baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, and much more.

There is an alfresco sitting area located between the party place and outdoor pavilion. This picturesque area features a stone indoor/outdoor fireplace, pebbled walking surface furnished by red Adirondack wooden tables and chairs organized in a semi-circle formation edged by a rose garden.  This little piece of heaven is a great place to have a glass of wine,  roast S’ mores, and a place to mingle with others.  Both can be utilized to get the most out of your event.

 

The Wedding Ceremony

Usually takes place by the riverside wedding pergola that has been specially constructed under a canopy of trees that we dubbed as the outdoor cathedral. This amazing place is perfect for a memorable wedding ceremony or vow renewal. 

The photographs from the ceremony would be exquisite with the wedding pergola and forested hillside in the background that overlooks the Roaring River. Our special events venue really does not have a bad location for a photoshoot. With nature as a backdrop, how could you go wrong?

The Lodgings at Roaring River Vineyards
