The Gathering Place at Roaring River Vineyards
The Gathering Place is the collective name for our private event spaces at Roaring River Vineyards. Depending on your event and group size, our spaces may be used together or separately to create an experience that fits your celebration.
The Gathering Place includes our riverside outdoor pavilion, The Party Place, an outdoor ceremony site, and supporting facilities—all surrounded by the natural scenery of the vineyard and Roaring River.
The Outdoor Riverside Pavilion
Our large, covered riverside event pavilion offers an open-air setting overlooking the Roaring River and a beautiful forested hillside.
Designed for celebrations and gatherings of up to 100 guests, the pavilion features a large dance floor and stage, making it well suited for:
- Wedding receptions
- Rehearsal dinners
- Family reunions
- Birthday and anniversary celebrations
- Graduation parties
- Corporate events and company gatherings
- Business meetings and seminars
- Private parties and special occasions
Retractable walls can be lowered when needed to provide additional protection from inclement weather while maintaining the open-air character of the space.
The Outdoor Pavilion is seasonally available from May 1 through October 31.

The Party Place
For smaller gatherings, The Party Place combines comfortable indoor accommodations with outdoor entertaining spaces overlooking the Roaring River.
Indoor Gathering Space
The indoor space features a full kitchen with an island, a dining area that comfortably seats up to 14 guests, and a relaxed sitting area with three sofas, a television, and an indoor fireplace.
For entertainment, the space also includes a karaoke machine, keyboard, and guitar, making it a flexible setting for intimate celebrations and casual gatherings.
Outdoor Deck & Riverside Space
Step outside to a partially covered deck and outdoor fireplace overlooking the river.
The covered porch can accommodate rectangular tables with seating for up to 24 guests, while the uncovered deck provides additional flexibility for tables, mingling, dining, and other event setups.
This indoor/outdoor combination makes The Party Place particularly well suited for rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, family gatherings, showers, and smaller private events.
The Alfresco Gathering Area
Between The Party Place and the Outdoor Pavilion is one of the property's most inviting gathering spaces.
This picturesque alfresco area features a stone indoor/outdoor fireplace, pebbled walking surface, red Adirondack-style tables and chairs, and a surrounding rose garden.
Gather around the fireplace with a glass of wine, roast s'mores, or simply spend time together beside the river. The alfresco area can complement both The Party Place and Outdoor Pavilion, giving guests additional room to mingle and enjoy the vineyard setting.
Riverside Wedding Ceremonies
For weddings and vow renewals, our riverside ceremony site features a pergola beneath a beautiful canopy of mature trees—an area we affectionately call our "outdoor cathedral."
With the Roaring River and forested hillside creating a natural backdrop, the ceremony site offers an intimate setting for exchanging vows and beautiful opportunities for wedding photography throughout the surrounding vineyard estate.
